DC is the new GSP for me. Was much more exciting before, has been becoming more of a wrestler again and playing it safe. He's good at it so it serves him well, just not the fans.

Home town judges. Kenny Florian is usually pretty docile in his commentating but he was pretty expressive that Pearson got robbed, and I would agree
Unfortunately, with the current crop of judges, rushing in with punches, even without landing, is judged as a good thing. Same as take downs and doing nothing after aka lay and

I havent watched it again but during the fight i felt that he yelled and the ref stoppage came directly after. Not alot of time to just let go. My opinion on any submission is to hold on and let the ref stop it. (The rare case being: u actually feel a bone break or feel the guy go unconscious). Ive seen a few old fights where the guy tapped and his opponent let go and they continued fighting cuz the ref didnt see the tap…wild

Havent watched enough Bellator to have a "real" opinion, but i dont see Coker doin a real good job. I figure he will cash out and walk away on the first offer Zuffa gives him for it

Why would you go and fight in Brazil as a non Brazilian fighter? Blatently rigged and the crowd has to much influence on the judges decision in IMO. Just watched the Alves Vs Jouban fight and the result was a joke. OSP first round finish made up for it though, you could hear a pin drop in the crowd.

Sry boys, was late watching this one. Was told the card sucked so just watched the Shogun fight. Wow man! Shogun just doesnt have "it" anymore at all. Maybe because the refs in UFC dont wear earpieces like the "refs" did in PRIDE. Or he has jus taken too much damage over the years. Either way, he should prob hang'em up now.
As for the PPV last night:
I was fairly impressed with the whole card. Lamas looked great against a really good as of late Bermudez. Gastelum made Ellenberger look terrible and the main event was pretty wild. Hunt had Werdum hurt a few times but he came back and KO'd Hunt (did not see that comming). Werdum in the last 2yrs has improved his stand by 300%. I am now a fan. He used to rely soley on his JJ in years past and looked like a pussy (watch werdum/overeem). -
Sounds like one to watch. I've been stuck at work this week so didn't get to see it. Big fan of Gastelum, champ in the making I reckon.

Was def a good card. Havent watched the prelims yet but heard there was atleast 2 decent fight on them aswell
