    • RE: Tanner Goods

Hi guys.  I'm currently waiting for a Tanner Goods belt which I ordered a few days ago, can't wait!  This is to replace the current belt I have on my IHs which is a freebie I got with a value pair of jeans from Topman (a UK high street store) … the belt is on its last legs and I decided my IHs deserve a little better.

Anyway, will I need to treat/care for this belt to prevent cracking or degradation or does it just last?

I was SOOOOO tempted to add a wallet into the cart but the images on the site didn't show a clear image of the bill section.  Particularly I'd like to see a top shot of it, perhaps with the bill section held open a little.  Anyone able to provide?

    • RE: Sweatshirts (Hoodies, Crewnecks, Loopwheeled, Vintage, etc.)

Well, after a few hours of checking out the links and pics from this thread I end up buying …. a tanner goods belt!    At some point this evening my browsing went off on a tangent but no problem as my IHs are badly in need of a good belt and I have a week or two left before Scotland starts freezing over.

Anyway, thanks for the links.  There is a shop not too far away which has some Headporter Plus gear so I'm going to go check it out this weekend, will also let me get the perfect sizing if I like what I see.

      Thanks,
      uint.

      @nameness:

how do you want it to fit and what's your budget?

I like a fitted top which isn't too baggy.  Something with a little style or small detailing is always nice.

My budget is anywhere up to £150ish quid, maybe a little more as long as I'm buying quality and not a label.

Ah this thread is where I should have started!  A few brands which I've never heard of to look at, should keep me busy for a little while checking them out.

Anyone got experience of Headporter gear?  They have a few crewneck sweatshirts and hoodies … quality or overpriced?

    • RE: IH-634XHS and IH-666XHS - VMC 25 Year Anniversary's

      These sound awesome.

When I received my current and 1st pair IH-634S I thought I would never need another pair of jeans for a long time.  So far I've wore nothing but …. but now I want another pair!

      Thread watched.

      Hi all,

Anyone got suggestions for a good quality hoodie or sweater brand?  At the moment I'm looking at the NSW Loopwheeler hoodies, if I can find anywhere that has them in stock!

My main requirements are quality and design, but I'm not keen on large branding/logos.

      Suggestions welcome.

      Cheers.

    • RE: Soaking and Stretching Denim

Well thanks guys, my fit seems perfect!  I'm loving the both the cut of the jean and quality, you can actually feel the extra quality.

Any advice on washing?  I'm worried I die my trainers or couch blue … is it advisable to wash/soak these straight away?

      Thanks.

    • RE: Soaking and Stretching Denim

      Hi all.

I've been looking at buying a pair of IH-634S for a while now and have eventually decided to go for it.  My main worry is around sizing and shrinkage, which I still am a little fuzzy on.  I'm usually a 32" waist and 32" leg when I buy my standard fashion type jeans.

Anyway, I've measured a pair of existing jeans which I find fit me pretty well, measurements below:

      Waist: 33
      Front Rise: 11.25
      Rear Rise: 13.5
      Thigh: 10.5
      Knee: 9
      Inseam: 31.5
      Cuff: 9

From these measurements I'm thinking a size 32 would be good, given that I should expect up to an inch stretch in the waist.  My main concern is leg length.  35" is way too long for me so if I get them factory hemmed at 32" should I expect any shrinkage?

Any size advice or feedback from UK owners would also be greatly appreciated.
