@BD81 is a good dude to trade with. Smooth transaction, shirt arrived just as described and I’m sure we’ll be dealing more in the future.
Fit looks perfect! Once it softens, it will drape better.
Got divorced.
Relapsed after a decade in recovery.
Got clean again and reconnected with friends and a sense of serenity in most areas of my life.
Left a promising career in healthcare management for a job closer to home/friends, with less stress, to be able to spend more time with my son.
Took a 50% cut in salary.
Had a promising interview yesterday at a private/for profit where I've worked with several staff members in the past. Great benefits/pay, in a field I'm very experienced in with opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
The last two years have been some of the toughest but most rewarding I've ever experienced.
Hopefully 2017 will have brighter days in store for me. I sincerely wish the same for each of you guys here. I've made some decent friendships with some of you and hope to build more in the future.
Received one of these from a buddy on the forum yesterday. I usually take a XXXL on IH tops but actually fit a XXL in this perfectly. I'll be cold washing and hang drying for sure. This is one of those that the pics just don't do it justice. There's so much depth to the pattern and nothing beats IH ultra heavy flannels. Pics to come…..
@TrickHell:
especially if you enjoy squats and deadlifts.
Seconded. My main complaint about SL5x5 is not enough deadlifts.
It'd be kinda tough on the body to do many more deadlifts per week while squatting 3X per week. I try to make the most out of my warm up sets, especially on deadlifts, since it's only 1X5.
@TrickHell I started 5X5 a little over a month ago and I'm loving it also. At this point, every workout is a personal record.
@neph93 If you're looking to gain strength without really bulking you might want to check out stronglifts 5x5, especially if you enjoy squats and deadlifts. It could also help with the stall you were speaking of.
Kinda what I'm thinking too but wanted to look at options. I keep coming back to the Christy though.
Got a question for you guys. I've got these http://www.yuketen.com/ready-to-wear/maine-guide-ox-db-b-moc
and I'm about to send them for a resole/repair. I can get any vibram or crepe sole from the current lineup. What would ya'll choose?
I'm only considering it since I have a 30% discount.
Sent my vintage original Swiss Army in for repairs, only to be told they are unable to repair since it is so old and parts are unavailable. They did however offer me a 30% discount on a new watch. I'm not looking to spend more than $3-400, since I hadn't planned to get a new watch. Any suggestions?
