Whatchu smokin? (cigar thread)

[kojimastreets]

@WithBongInHand have always wanted to try one of those. Worth the hype?

[WithBongInHand]

@kojimastreets Oh yes. Very similar to a Padron 1964 but a bit less expensive. Chocolate / coffee bomb. 🤌

[Larkens]

@WithBongInHand sounds gooood

[kojimastreets]

@WithBongInHand had to try it! Very good. CLE Box Pressed Prieto is another good chocolatey option, though nothing I think can really beat a Padron 64

[WithBongInHand]

@kojimastreets Nice! Glad you liked it!

The 1964 is pretty untouchable but could you at least see where I was coming from?

[kojimastreets]

@WithBongInHand definitely. It’s a great smoke.

It’s funny, I feel like the 64 padrón is the point of diminishing returns for cigars in my book. You can pay more for a “nicer” cigar but I don’t think anything gets $10, $20, etc better at that point.

Haha, all that said, I’m always looking for a more economic option. Can’t afford to smoke padrons all the time and still get my IH fix!

[WithBongInHand]

@kojimastreets Agreed, though I still think higher priced cigars have their place. The Padron 80 year perfecto is worth every bit of $40.

[kojimastreets]

@WithBongInHand I’ll have to add that to my list

I highly recommended visiting Cigar Vault East next time you’re in Austin.

CAO V660 - a go-to

Jack 10 and a Brickhouse. Saturdays are for little work, drink and a smoke and enjoying your IH purchases you got this week from saving up your nickels.

[WithBongInHand]

Sunday’s smoke is probably my all around favorite blend, the Fuente Don Carlos. I prefer the No. 2 but the No. 3 is great for a shorter smoke in the hot weather.

[harleylawhorn]

@WithBongInHand that is a well constructed stick my friend. 🤌

Ah dude it was perfect!

[harleylawhorn]

@kojimastreets is that’s puro, or partially made in Brazil? I can’t recall if I’ve ever had a filler or wrapper from Brazil before Looks tasty

[kojimastreets]

@harleylawhorn brazilliam wrap over Nicaraguan tobacco. It’s awesome

[kojimastreets]

Settled a big case today. Been driving me insane. Very excited not to have to work this weekend. Starting it early. Cheers

[harleylawhorn]

@kojimastreets Congrats! Olmec is for the victorious. Have a great weekend
