I’ve been looking at things to make from smaller hemming offcuts. Liking how the Swatch bag works, I’ve used our thinner strips to make a small-medium size cushion. This fits a 30x50cm cushion.

Just getting your feedback for preferred cushion sizes/colourways etc. Options going forwards could be a plain indigo/black/duck; a mix of worn faded indigos; mix of denim colours/splash of wabash; chino/whipcord. Smaller size cushions only.

This is a pillowcase type cushion cover which may have copper snaps on the back - or front if you want to face it that way. I’m just working on that.

@labrat love a leather cord! I don’t have a very much long enough leather that I could cut a cord from. And, of course, I don’t buy things in, as this project is to only use what we have spare, but I will keep an eye out. Perhaps some old leather laces or the paracord we use might come up too

Oh, just had a thought that I may be able to spiral cut a small piece of buck to make a cord…I’ll be back…

I’m in production mode.
A small batch of Swatch Cushions are on their way.
Using smaller hemming offcuts than our Swatch Bags, each cushion contains 18 x 3” random offcuts of 14/16/18/21/UHR/25oz fresh-off-the-cutting-board indigo denim.
As you can see, each piece has a character of its own and needs a firm hand to bring them together
I’m looking forward to seeing how these age.

Would be sweet to have some sleeve extension snaps to be able to button certain shirts over a watch, could be real similar to the denim bracelets?

We are in production, with angled pocket and leather tie.
I’ll be making 5 of these to start with in a variety of denims. Each will be unique.
First up is a beautifully faded, worn and repaired 21oz roll.

It depends on how much fabric we can source from unsellable jeans. Anything is possible, we just need more denim

@Lynne pillows look fantastic. You can also try making pillow cases out of just the IH denim waist bands. Like so:

If I could just wear the same clothes everyday the way I wear one band This is on almost all the time. 3 salty bodies of water, swimming pools, workouts. Top pic is brand new. About 11 months below that
