Second time wearing them today. They were a lot easier to get on. They’ve already loosened up. Really liking these. Wearing them with my 888-19 oz lht…
I also spilled some water on the right boot which caused some of the dots you see.

Haven’t worn these in a bit, been way too hot in New York. Weather is perfect today so I busted these guys out for a trip to the brewery. Wearing the 888 SBG.
I’m considering picking this piece up. At first I was contemplating because it seemed too similar to last years IHSH-333 sax flannel, but I think it’s different enough to justify a pickup.
Grabbed a pair in size 10. Thanks for the sizing help freeman.
Just grabbed this in a L from Iron shop provisions. They were running a 15% off sale. Went down a size from my typical iron heart size and what I wear on the N1 so I’m hoping it works out. I also got the new crazy check brown flannel in XL and the 17 oz. Duck type 3.
Sweet! Looking forward to them even more. Hoping I made the right decision with the D width
Any idea or examples how these or the cargos will age over time? Can’t manage to find many.
So the general consensus is to take your UHF size if you want to layer, and size down if you want a trimmer look? I live in upstate New York where winters get pretty brutal, so I’ll definitely be layering. My most recent UHF is the sax blue in XXL which fits comfortably. I also have a few older UHF’s in XL which fit a bit more trim. My general opinion with outerwear like this is to size up, rather than down, if in doubt.
I just grabbed this on sale at snake oil provisions in XL. They had it in their last chance section for 305$ plus another 15% off sale they’re running brought it to 260$. What an insane bargain.
Sounds good @Ross. Thanks for reaching out. This will be my first pair of Wescos. Is the maryam preferred to the veg tanned leather ?

I have to admit, this is my first pair of horsehide boots. Is there any care or conditioning routine I should follow? I’ve always wore cxl boots and left them alone.
@Peterldavey mine were pretty hard to get on this morning and I was questioning the sizing, but after wearing them for a few hours they’ve loosened up considerably.
@alvory perfect fit man. What boots are those? I have a pair of Chisos ropers I wear sometimes.
Sweet! Looking forward to them even more. Hoping I made the right decision with the D width

Between a 34 and 36 here. I rock the 888’s in a 36 and can size down to a 35. I’m thinking just ask for a size 36 with a smaller waist?
Any stretch anticipated? Ive been comfortable wearing the 888’s in various denim’s in size 36. Not sure if I should ask for a 34 in a bigger waist, or a 36. I’m thinking just size up and wear a belt.
