      @injunjack:

      @JCMx800:

      Excuse the question, but is no one into choppers? Hardtail, Sportster tank, springer fender, K&Q seat, sissy bar. Choppers.

      Yes. Isn't that obvious?

      Yeah, but I don't like springers with fenders and rather walk than be seen on a bike with a sissy bar or king and queen seat. There's more stuff that's been popularized the last few years but I dislike lots of bikes so I digress.

      My vest did the same thing a while ago, I just never thought of posting as I haven't been around the forums much lately. I also ride a motorcycle pretty much every day though.

    • RE: White's Boots

      JCM thanks for the pics. Only bad thing is they pretty much ensured I will be purchasing another pair of black boots. I was trying to avoid that but I think black RO vamp and shaft, with black dress counter on lace to toe Cougars would be amazing. I will probably do that as my second pair, thinking I need Red Dog Silicone smoke jumpers first for work.

      Thank you all a ton for your help. Im sure I will have a few more questions before the final build before purchase though.

    • RE: White's Boots

      Thank you all, that nudge in the right direction helps a lot. I will just try to google those different leather options and see if pics come up. Also, JCMx800 since you said the black RO was tough I actually may get my first pair in Red Dog, and since I want to order another if I like them, may do the next in all black RO and just wear them on mostly welding days at both shops. Do you have any pics of yours?

      Also, does anyone know what leather was used on the second pair that I posted that I found on instagram?

      Thanks a ton for the help.

    • RE: White's Boots

      Need some help. Looking for a work boot and Im very interested in a pair of 6" height White's. Looking for help sourcing either a pair of SJ lace to toe, Northwest or Cougars.

      Really like rough out but Im leaning against that option due to the amount of saw dust and oil they will probably see. A little info. I work in a busy wood/welding shop and my personal shop is mostly automotive welding/fabrication so they will see a lot of use. I would use a site like bakers to just build them but I wish I could see good comparisons of material and finish to make a decision. Just trying to avoid an all black boot (thats what I normally do. Want to switch it up), want a Vibram 2021 sole. Thinking of either a natural, red dog, or Horween Navy Chomexel with a double midsole, rolled top, then debate on steel toe or not.

      Here are two I randomly came across online or instagram a while back and took screen shots of.

      First ones I believe were a special Japan only run a while ago. Eventhough Im trying to avoid all black and rough out they look amazing

      These second ones would be pretty much be perfect except I would like all brass eyes and no hooks.

      Any help is greatly appreciated.

      @TJ:

      Full-tilt genny-motor boner over here, Burger.  What's it going in?

      It's going to go back into the original '63 swing arm frame I got with it.
      I already have a chopper. This bike is going to be my "old man" all original Pan.

      That shovel is going to be wild when its done. Get on that ASAP!

      @Finn666:

      wow…more than well done mate!
      how many hours have you put in this till today?

      Ugh, I dont even know. Waiting for other people holds you up (polishing and parts). Tearing down a motor and trans can done quickly, checking out a bike that has sat the better part of 20 years can't/shouldn't be done so quickly. Maybe 20 hours total.

      @CLJ:

      Older bikes are great, but new bikes are pretty wicked also.

      Oh I know. My buddy's Super Duke was the most comfortable liter bike I've ever been on and the one in the vid looks amazing. I'm actually trying to buy a KTM of Husqvarna Super Moto after I finish this Panhead.

      Not a complete bike but some progress folks like Injun will probably be in to  😉

      Starting the trans. Found some oil from the beginning of time

      Got everything apart and blasted the cases

      Had the cases polished

      Back together

      Engine time;

      Got the heads off

      Generator cover open and pulling the oil pump

      Everything laid out

      Seats done and valves lapped

      Flywheels apart since they were off 8 thousandths

      Back together to begin the truing process

      Truing done… Zero on oil side and under half a thousandth on the other. Smooth as butter

      Polished the cases to match the trans

      Going back together

      Motor and trans together before I did the pushrods and external oiler lines

    • RE: IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

      Haven't been around much lately since I put the 25ozer away months ago. Decided to bring them back out again after completely blowing the crotch out of some other jeans. I still think they are a little small in the main and thighs but with 27" what are you going to do?

      Anyway, this is a few days over 3 months of light wear for me (no skating, no cycling, no working on cars in shop in them). Planning to just fix the crotch and see how much I can beat them up this winter.

      SOrry pics are sideways… will fix later
