5'10" 175ish here and the L is a good slim/trim fit for me. It's super comfortable with a t/flannel. There is enough room to layer a hoodie but it's a little snug in the shoulders at that point. I would say I have an "athletic" build with a few too many trips to the local cafe thrown in for good measure,

Mine showed up today, wonderful piece. Haven't had an opportunity to do anything more than take it out of the bag and drool.
