I am in the market for a nice M-65 jacket and then someone introduces me the Iron Heart brand and I am impressed with the design ( such as inner layer is warterproof layer).

I am living in California, so I am wondering if there is a major material difference between the Sateen cotton and the oiled cotton?  I understand the oiled cotton is more "water resistant" because the material, but I am wondering the weight difference between the Oiled version and the Sateen version, also which one would keep warm and block wind? San Francicso is always cold in Summer, so this M65 would be a nice daily jacket from Spring to Winter.

If you wash them in hot water and they shrink, they become more rigid….

I got mine today and I love it…mostly. Fits great in the shoulders and chest, ample space in the stomach. But I don’t know if I will be able to keep it, the armpits and top bicep are kinda tight. I’m gonna wear it when weather allows to try it out, but the tight areas are very tight with a UHF, it will make layering a challenge.

did u size down when you place the order?

I hope this question is not stupid, is there a design reason beind that oiled M65 jacket has smaller chest size than the sateen M65?

new member here. someone told me Iron Heart has pretty good design on M-65 jacket, so I joined the group and noticed Iron Heart does have a lot of fans here. I used to buy a lot of TAD jacket and pants, I think I can switch the brand now.

I am from Bay Area California where I only need to wear a jacket for whole year.

the shipping speed to the U.S is impressive fast. just wondering do we need to pay any import taxes?

yea, its hard to tell if those are real or fake without expert check it.

How often will Ironheartamerca website resotck the IHM-33-OLV model? its all sold out now. 2 days ago I saw it has my size L in stock but I was in a meeting, then it was sold already after my meeting was finished. I checked around US dealers' website and none of them carry IHM-33-OLV model.

I have noticed there is a guy from Japan selling Oiled cotton M-65 jackets on ebay around $450, so I am wondering are those typically fake one?
