When you reported very low temps a few days ago @jordanscollected , I wondered how Firefly does in that kind of weather.
Does she mind it? Or will she happily take a walk outside? -

@motojobobo The horses grow thick winter coat's starting in the fall and love being outside all winter. They eat to keep themselves warm and on the really cold nights, they huddle up to insulate one another. As long as they are dry, they can keep themselves warm. The worst for them is a 30F day where is rains a bunch, of there coat gets wet they have a harder time staying warm and will shiver. We have blankets for the horses for those rare-ish days.
Walking in the snows doesn't bother them they actually enjoy the fresh snow and it is easier on their hooves than a gravel path.
Here is firefly with her summer vs winter coat. They shed all of that winter fur in the spring and it gets F-ing everywhere. you do not wear fleece in the spring time.

I love this jacket. I remembered I can wear it as an inbetween layer at work because it fits under my N-1. It will be here a lot over the next few weeks.
Important to keep the bring young things thinking with fun and card games

Thanks @neph93 - I had to wash the cargoes and crazy how all the sheen pretty much left after a cold wash and line dry. I think they are more wearable now for sure

I mean, you cant go wrong with either one..but I think it was Twins broken in Lefty that convinced me that I needed at least one great denim jacket in my closet.

I need to add more colors to my wardrobe. That olive Kersey (?) work shirt is on the list. Giles got me wanting that IHJ-79 too badly. A new fishing/everything jacket
