I have just posted this in the Hello board.
_We welcome with open arms new members, new blood keeps this forum fresh and interesting, so please do join up and post away.
I will be the first to admit there is a ton of information on this forum, and navigation is sometimes a little tricky.
But a couple of words of advice:
- There is a search function - please use it
- Having your first post something to the effect of "Hello, I'm a noob I know the answer is somewhere in here, but I can't be bothered to look" will not endear you to existing members.
In my mind there is no such thing as a noob question. Feel free to ask, just please try and make sure the answer is not already obvious._
But honestly, a load of existing members who should know better, are asking simple questions that they know is already answered, they just can't be bothered to look for it.
Please use the search function and do a a little bit or research before asking a question.
