Birkenstock..but have no idea on sizing, or general experience with the brand. Given that there are a few fans here, looking for any help or relative input..

      Hi jdl,
      like jmc I´m EU 42,5 - 43, UK 9, US 9,5-10.
I rotate two Boston in 42 and 43 in normal width.(There is also a slender width)
They are very comfortable and last a life time, if you don't step to often on the edge of the cork latex footbed.

Exactly the same here. Usually US 9.5, am a 43 in these.

Which denim available in the 666 would one suggest as the most comfortable year round to work in? Where I'm working is notoriously hot in summer and can get pretty frigid during these cold months. Looking to pick something up for DWC that will be on me 24/7 for the full two years. Torn between too many options lol

25oz is more breathable than 18 imo. Plus, if I can wear 25oz in Jakarta then anyone can wear it anywhere.

It's something I just can't fathom… But maybe I'm the wrong person answering this... I think of 5C° as being the idéal temperature... Inside and out...

@jdl1279, I live basically in the same neck of the woods as you and I've been in 25oz for 2 summers, and wasn't dying. They breath well. You could also do 21oz, that stuff breathes really well also.
You may have to wash them a bit more if you are working in them but you should be fine temp wise 🙂

He has the XHS'es, so I'm guessing he found them to be too hot to handle during the summer…

The XHS is just a bit heavy for a 110° plant in summer. I was thinking the UHR would likely be similar. My having the 666N ruled them out. So I was thinking 18S or SII, or possibly 19L. So it comes to which breathes better I guess

I seem to recall that they will be out in 21oz before the DWC commences, can you confirm @Giles ?

Yeah, could likely handle 21oz from what I understand of it's nature. That and everyone else seems to want the SII or UHR for DWC
