Five days later and Vertigo still has me in its grasps. Started prednisone today. Hopefully but works. I’m improving but still dizzy and nauseous. Can’t drive or work. Doc thinks it should be gone by end of weekend. We’ll see. MRI on Friday to rule out anything.

Also, I am too ocd for earplugs i have at least 6 different types. I dont like how they feel in my ears, the pressure. And I have tinnitus so there's a constant tape hiss. But most of the time i have my own room. But this time the hotel was full. Good night.

Oh Matty, that’s terrible. In sorry to hear you’re still feeling bad. Hopefully the steroids will kick this vertigo to the curb. Good luck with your mri.

@Filthy  I hear you on the OCD, pressure and the tinnitus:  I recomend wax ear plugs that you can mold. Like
The ones they sell at cvs. The font add much pressure. You kind of control how Hard you want to put them in.

I recommend an app called White Noise that my wife and I use to book out/distract from unwanted sounds.

iPhone 8 screens are as slick as ice.  My office mailbox is located on a marina on Lake Union in Seattle.  This morning when grabbing the mail I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dropped it on the marina.  Phone then proceeded to slide right into the lake….  Was able to fish it out with a net.  Last time I don't buy Applecare.

All modern smartphones are slippery glass-sandwiches and a case is mandatory for better handling. It does ruin the looks of any phone, though.

I can't imagine how difficult it is to deal with vertigo.  I heard the Brandt-Daroff Exercise is quite helpful.

Did you see an Ear,Nose and Throat doctor? The spins/rotational vertigo is the worst. That’s what I had,but it was random. It was called Benign Positional Vertigo,because it was brought on by a certain head movement.

Hey @Jett129 yes I saw an internist and an ENT doc yesterday. He thinks
Mine is do to an upper respiratory infection I had a few weeks back. The MRI Friday is to just make sure it’s nothing else. Doc seems confident so I am as well. Thanks man
