We all have autonomous positions that don't overlap or necessarily feed in to each other, so leadership roles are actually just titles given to the weirdos that "want" to do it.

I have a couple of people like that (folks that just have individual projects that are not associated with anything else, and they are solely responsible for their projects). I advise those folks to do their self evaluations in the same format as their position description.

ie UnTucked's position is to color all the blue boxes. This year he colored in 60 blue boxes.

At the very least, keeps the evaluations easy to read.

Grailed Rant:

All measurements clearly posted in the product description.

Potential Buyer:  What size does the shirt say?  XXXXX Brand has different size numbers.

What difference does it make what the tag size says?  The F'ing measurements are posted clear as day.  Those either work for you or they don't.  The tagged size doesn't magically make the damn shirt fit.

Second rant today.  An employee of mine didn't know how to create a screenshot, paste it to an email, and send the email.  For the sake of my mental and physical health after a chain of 9-10 messages where I clearly explain the "complexities" of creating a screenshot and sending it to someone I had to give up and send them to tech support to have someone else try and fix the unfixable; stupid.

Followed (most) of the guidelines on how to wash superblack jeans, still ended up with lots of white spots and streaks.

Turned them inside out, used liquid soap, low RPM spin cycle, pulled them out before the high RPM spin cycle, even used a "Delicate fecking garments (ya ponce)" setting…

Should've bloody soaked them before throwing them in the machine… That's the one that probably did me in...

It’s not a fade, it’s a mark caused by abrasion I believe.

I now pre-soak everything made of heavy material or indigo dyed before I chuck them in the machine. It’s important because it prevents sharp creases forming in the fabric which happens quickly if you stuff them in machine dry. I use the shower head and soak the outside then flip them and repeat.

I had perfect luck washing my 8301 by soaking them for 30 minutes in the tub, putting them in a pre-filled/sudsy washing machine, and even spun them dry. No marks whatso ever. The soak is the key.

Was checking the Corlection site and was mildly irritated that their measurements are done slightly different than IH. I wished there was a universal system of measuring clothing to avoid confusion. It's not rocket science so I don't get why thigh measurements, as an example, are measured at the crotch, 1" down and 2" down for different companies?

We measure the way the Japanese do…....For us, any other way of measuring is a potential cause of confusion when we spec clothing....
